NXP SEMICONDUCTORS (NXPI) NOT FOR SALE

NXP Semiconductors (NXPI) has been running up on rampant speculation that NXP Semiconductors is for sale. Now the CEO has come out and clearly stated that he is not shopping the company. The CEO also stated that he is looking to acquire another semiconductor company. We trade based on the ZYX Change Method . One big advantage of the ZYX Change Method is that for the most part it keeps us out of false moves. A good example is the method kept us out of buying NXPI. Looking at the volume pattern of the day, it appears the majority of investors who bought NXPI today are losers.

MORE ON XENOPORT (XNPT)

The drug from Xenoport (XNPT) is for moderate to severe Restless Leg Syndrome. This drug will compete with existing treatments IT is not clear if the drug presents an advantage compared to the existing treatments with the exception of a small number of patients.

XENOPORT (XNPT) IRRATIONAL EXUBERANCE ON HORIZANT.

Investors bid up shares of Xenoport (XNPT) by 56% on approval of Horizant.The company will have difficulty generating profits to support this huge stock move. We are now short from $10.18.
