OUR POSITION ADOBE SYSTEMS (ADBE) REPORTS EARNINGS THIS WEEK

We are currently long Adobe Systems (ADBE)    with an average price of $25.66.   We are   holding   20% of the full core position size.   We have previously taken profits on Adobe Systems with an average price of $28.10.

Adobe Systems  reports earnings this week.   We will hold our position in Adobe Systems  through earnings.   If the earnings are bad, when Adobe Systems  takes a hit, we will add to our position.  

Those not in the  Adobe   may use post earnings weakness, if any, to scale in a small position.

SKYWORKS (SWKS) LOSES APPLE (AAPL) BUSINESS

Skyworks (SWKS) makes semiconductors for phones and Wi-Fi.  

There are reports that Skyworks has lost all 3G business in Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone 5.   There are also reports that Skyworks may lose the rest of the business from Apple.

FBR after its checks from Asia reports that the data from Asia is most positive for Marvell (MRVL), Silicon Lab (SLAB), Qualcom (QCOM), and LSI (LSI).  

The data is most negative for Nvidia (NVDA).   The data is also negative for Broadcom (BRCM), Altera (ALTR), and Texas Instruments (TXN).
