In addition to the prior post, consider buying another 10% if TECD dips in the range of $40 – $41.26, and another 10% in the range of $38 – $39.20.

The best way to control risk is to buy in small tranches and not use a stop while the position is still being accumulated. However those who must use a stop, the stop zone is $33.23 – $33.47.

NEW IDEA ON TECD $TECD

TECD is a large distributor of technology products. The stock is being hit in the after market on report of revision of prior earnings due to improprieties in U.K. subsidiary. This dip is a buying opportunity.

Consider buying a 20% tranche, preferable in two tranches, in the zone of $42 -$44 in the aftermarket. Currently the stock is trading at $43.60. The plan is to buy more if the stock dips further.

Wednesday brought us six pieces of news that makes us reflect on the strength in the stock market.

Bernanke’s emphasis on cost

We have always paid close attention to every word Bernanke utters. Wednesday’s press conference was unusual, in that Bernanke had more emphasis on the cost of the easy monetary policy. Our interpretation is that QE is likely to taper down sooner than what is generally expected.
