Aphria (APHA) is a Marijuana Model Portfolio stock. APHA is merging with Tilray (TLRY). The merger will create the largest marijuana company — bigger than Canopy Growth (CGC). CGC, in addition to being in the Marijuana Model Portfolio, is also in the Core Model Portfolio.
This is an all stock deal. APHA shareholders will own 62% of the combined company. The new company will be called Tilray and trade under the symbol (TLRY).
