Dell Computer (DELL), a major manufacturer of computers, is announcing that it is moving its facilities from China to Vietnam. Recently, Apple had announced that it was moving production of iPads from China to Vietnam.
Previously, we were seeing production of low tech items such as sneakers move from China to Vietnam. Now, the floodgates are opening for the move of technology-oriented companies from China to Vietnam.
The Plan
Investors should consider undertaking a two-part strategy:
- Building a core position by buying VNM on major dips for the very long term
