INSURANCE AGENTS LOSE JOB SECURITY WITH OBAMACARE RULING

Much has been discussed in the media about most of the aspects of the Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act, or “Obamacare.” I have not seen much about the plight of more than 100,000 insurance agents and brokers. The floodgates are about to open for the mass firing of healthcare insurance agents. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act dictates that health insurers must spend at least $0.80 of every $1.00 in premiums collected on health care in the individual and small group markets, and $0.85 in the large group market. Google has a tradition of naming its operating systems after desserts. Jelly Bean is an incremental upgrade to Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The biggest improvement in Jelly Bean is in its search function and now presents information in a fashion similar to Apple Siri. Google has also introduced Nexus 7, a Google branded tablet. Steve Jobs called Android a stolen product, as he believed Android was copied from Apple (AAPL) iOS. If Steve Jobs was alive today, he would be aghast at Google copying another feature from Apple. Under Obama Care hospitals are prime beneficiaries as they will start receiving payments from more patients who are now indigent. Some hospitals do not collect as much as 30% of their billing. Moreover, THC is an acquisition candidate. Those who acted quickly should have had fills before the halt. Those who acted after the halt should also have fills. Those still contemplating, we do not recommend buying higher than $5.30 preferably closer to $5.10. This will be a long-term position with a target of $11 to $13.
