It is expected that Apple will announce an internet radio service today at its World Wide Developer’s Conference (WWDC). It is not known if Apple’s product will resemble Pandora or Spotify.
There is a substantial downside for P in the long-term, but there is no way to predict what will happen after Apple’s announcement. If Apple’s offer is more like Spotify and less like P, another short squeeze may ensue. Therefore it is important to revisit the quantity being held and adjusted so that the investor is comfortable even if there is a temporary short squeeze.
To reduce risk a 5% tranche will be covered this morning prior to WWDC keynote address at 1:00 PM ET. This will leave 40% of the full core position size being held.
