FACEBOOK LAUNCHES A BAZOOKA AGAINST GOOGLE, APPLE, MICROSOFT, AND BLACKBERRY $FB $AAPL $GOOG $BBRY $MSFT $NOK

It does not yet seem to be well understood, but Facebook has just launched a bazooka against Google, Apple, Microsoft, and BlackBerry.

Present-day phones are built around apps. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, asked the right question, “Should the phones be designed around people and not apps?”  His answer was apparently that people are more important than apps.  The result is an app he’s calling “Home.”   The Home app offers a Facebook centric home page for Google Android phone users.

Those not in FB and looking for a medium-term position may consider initiating a 20% tranche in the zone of $25 to $25.82.

I always get a large number of emails from investors asking questions about gold and silver. Yesterday the email volume spiked. Basically investors were asking the same question, “Why is gold down on North Korea warning that its military has been cleared to wage a nuclear attack against the United States?” The United States has responded by deploying a missile defense shield at its territory Guam. Defense Secretary Hagel called North Korea, “A real and clear danger.”
