An upcoming version will allow direct streaming from Netflix (NFLX) to mobile devices. At present, Netflix content can be downloaded, but not streamed, to mobile devices. This development also extends lead of Netflix over competitors. We are long Netflix and expect Netflix stock to trade higher today. As per the prior post, our first tight trailing stop hit on NVIDIA (NVDA) at 22.52. The stop on the remaining position hit at $23.02. Now we have successfully exited our short on NVIDIA with profit. TILSON’S LOSS ON NETFLIX (NFLX) IS OUR GAIN

We are sitting on almost 125% gain on our remaining Netflix (NFLX) position. In a prior post, we mentioned that the next resistance is around $225 for Netflix . Today, we were knocking at the door of $225. After the close, there is news that the famous Netflix short Whitney Tilson of T2 Partners has thrown in the towel and covered his Netflix short position. This news may propel Netflix stock higher. We will take advantage of any up spike and take profit on our remaining Netflix position. PROTECT PROFITS ON NVIDIA (NVDA)

There are significant profits now in our NVIDIA (NVDA) short position. In keeping with the discipline imposed by the ZYX Change Method, we will take profits on one third of our position right here around $22.62 and tighten trailing stops on another third of the position. Traditionally, NVIDIA (NVDA) is a manufacturer of graphics cards marketed under the name GeForce. Typically, low end PCs and notebooks offer graphics capabilities integrated with the CPU. The high end units offer better graphics performance by utilizing separate graphics chips from NVIDIA or Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
