ADDING TO $VECO (VECO INSTRUMENTS) SHORT SALE POSITION

$JEC (JACOBS ENGINEERING GROUP) TAKE OVER RUMOR DOES NOT MAKE SENSE

$JEC is up strongly on a rumor of potential take over by a private equity firm. We know nothing about the validity of the rumor. However, we have carefully looked at the debt structure of the company and our analysis shows that this company does not fit the profile of a typical private equity acquisition. Aggressive accounts willing to take a loss, should we be wrong ,may consider lightly short selling $JEC right here around $47.30 to 48 based on technicals. Up move in $VECO yesterday was triggered by $UBS recommendation on $CREE (Cree). CREE is the preeminent LED manufacturer and one of the business lines of $VECO is to supply equipment to LED manufacturers. Our proprietary indicators show that big move in $VECO is short covering. We will scale in another 5% of the full position right here at $47.80 to add to our existing 5% position. Fundamental have justified the momentum as the company’s solutions for manufacturing High Brightness Light Emitting Diodes have seen an insatiable appetite.
